<p></p> <h1>Product Manager</h1> <h2>Job Summary</h2> <p>We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple technical projects concurrently, leading teams, and expertise in Agile and Kanban methodologies.</p> <p>The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience and be technically proficient, capable of unblocking developers as needed. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong ability & vision to create product roadmaps.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Requirements Gathering & Discovery of Scope</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct discovery sessions to understand business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define project scope, success criteria, and functional requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Translate business needs into actionable product and engineering requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure alignment between business goals, customer expectations, and technical feasibility.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Project Planning & Execution</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Plan, execute, and monitor multiple technical projects simultaneously.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.</p> </li> <li> <p>Track Agile delivery metrics including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Burndown charts</p> </li> <li> <p>Sprint velocity</p> </li> <li> <p>Bug and defect metrics</p> </li> <li> <p>Release readiness documents</p> </li> <li> <p>Release checklists</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <p>Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful project execution.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Project Management Tools</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Hands-on experience with Jira, Asana, Linear, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar project management tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, issue tracking, reporting, and workflow management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Build dashboards and reports to monitor project health, team velocity, and delivery progress.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure project documentation and tracking are maintained within project management platforms.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Team Leadership</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, assigning tasks, and motivating team members to achieve project goals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Agile and Kanban Methodology</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Utilize Agile and Kanban methodologies to effectively manage projects, including Scrum, Lean, or other Agile frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive continuous Agile improvements and promote engineering best practices.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Technical Knowledge</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Possess technical expertise to understand and effectively communicate with development teams.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Product Roadmapping</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Create and manage product roadmaps, aligning them with business goals and customer needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop strategic plans for product releases, including prioritization, resource allocation, and timeline management.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Stakeholder Management</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Identify and manage project stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Risk Management</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Identify and proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop contingency plans and take corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and ensure successful project outcomes.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Quality Management</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Establish quality standards and ensure project deliverables meet the specified quality requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor and measure project performance against quality metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Documentation</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Keep accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related records.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure documentation is organized and easily accessible to project stakeholders.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Continuous Improvement</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance project outcomes and processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project team and organization.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies, such as Scrum, Lean, or other Agile frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in risk management, quality management, and documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale applications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with database modeling and development.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Good to Have</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Familiarity with building SaaS applications from the ground up.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with modern architecture practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience leading multiple technical teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Passionate about building delightful products with a customer-centric mindset.</p> </li>
